Theodorus Theodoropoulos

Mr. Theodorus Pete Theodoropoulos, 76, of Marmaduke, Arkansas died on September 17, 2012 at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mr. Theodoropoulos was born on June 17, 1936 in Zevgolatio Messinia, Greece to the late Pete and Asemo Theodoropoulos. He came to the US when he was 16, was of the Catholic faith, served in the Army, was a member of the VFW in Paragould, Arkansas, loved being with his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed landscaping, cooking, and animals. Survivors include: one son: Theodore Theodoropoulos and wife Ada of Marmaduke, Arkansas; four daughters: Dgostina Baldwin and husband Patrick of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Dona Manly of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Maria Theodoropoulos of Crete, Nebraska and Patricia Sharp and husband Joshua of Crete, Nebraska; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; best friend: Marie Chiacchia; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Theodoropoulos was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Missouri State Military Cemetery, Bloomfield, Missouri under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
