Dennis James Lewis, 67, of Caruthersville, Missouri passed away at Southeast Hospital on April 8, 2022. He was born on September 21, 1954 in St. Louis City County to Robert and Frances Waller Lewis. Dennis was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Jesus Name Tabernacle of Caruthersville, Missouri for many years. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, and listening to all genres of music. Survivors include; one son: Robert Lee Lewis of St. Louis, Missouri; two daughters: Patricia Marie Aydelott (Paul) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Jennifer Frances Burkeen (Jason) of Millington, Tennessee; two brothers: William Don Lewis of Fenton, Missouri, Randy Paul Lewis of Caruthersville, Missouri; five grandchildren: Kelsey Marie Lynn Aydelott, Jacob Neil Burkeen, Lewis Paul Aydelott, Jason “Junior” Neil Burkeen, JoHanna Marie Aydelott; seven nieces; nine nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Dennis is preceded in death by; parents: Robert and Frances Waller Lewis; two brothers: Calvin Lee Lewis and John Wayne Lewis; and one sister: Dorothy Ann Lewis Miller.
