Patricia Tyler

Patricia Tyler, 73, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on April 12, 2022. She was born on December 19, 1948 in Martinez, California to Thomas and Nannie Barnes Akin. Patricia was a member of the Bible Holiness Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and taking care of her grandchildren. Survivors include; loving husband: Kenneth Tyler of the home; one son: David Lee Tyler (Melanie) of Porterville, California; one daughter: Mellisa Ince of Brookland, Arkansas; one brother: Jim Akin (Sue) of Porterville, California; one sister: LaVerne Martin (Jerry) of Brookland, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Deven, Logan, Kallysta, Erik, Sirius, Kenneth; and a host of other family and friends. Patricia is preceded in death by; parents: Thomas and Nannie Barnes Akin; five brothers: Harold Akin, Billy Akin, Johnny Akin, Bobby Akin, Tommy Akin; and two infant sisters. Pallbearers: Todd Bost, Bill Shinault, Clarence Shinault, Gaylen Akin, Darrell Martin, and Mike Martin. Honorary Pallbearers: Sirius Tyler, Kenneth Reed, Deven Ince, Logan Tyler, and Erik Tyler. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Bible Holiness Pentecostal Church (2432 CR 905) in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Mike Cheney officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Pine log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the care of Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas.
