Gary Hugh Powell

Gary Hugh Powell, 47, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at NEA Memorial Hospital on May 31, 2022. He was born on March 11, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois to Eligh Hugh Powell and Barbara Horton Powell. Gary’s sons and family meant the world to him. He enjoyed gaming, learning about anything history, learning about any and everything, and cooking out for his family and friends. Survivors include; loving wife of 17 years: Susan Powell of Kansas; three sons: William David Gossett of Kansas, Talon Hunter Powell of Kansas, John Christopher Hillis, Jr of Kansas; one honorary son: Aaron White of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three guineapigs: Bolin, Rooster, Tumbler; and a host of other family and friends. Gary is preceded in death by; parents: Eligh Hugh Powell and Barbara Horton Powell; and his granny and pop. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Alcoholics anonymous or Al-Anon.
