Stephen Mark Johanson
September 1, 1956 - June 11, 2022

Stephen Mark Johanson (Stevie Jo), 65, of Jonesboro was lifted up into the arms of Jesus on June 11, 2022 after enduring several health issues. Steve was born in Borger, TX on September 1, 1956. His family moved to Jonesboro during Steve’s Junior High School year. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1974 where he was an avid athlete, just as he was in Junior High. The love of sports continued throughout his life. Especially the Razorbacks. God sprinkled a little extra of everything good on him. A hard worker; huge personality; a fighter and an inspiration to all that knew him. He is survived by his Mother, Carolyn Flemon of Jonesboro; Brother’s, Mike and Joe Johanson of Jonesboro; Sister, Sheryl Warford (Kerry) of Mountain Home; Nieces, Bailey Cato and Haven Raby (Anton); Nephews, Chase Johanson and Ben Cato (Sarah); other family members and a mountain of friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 18 from 1:00 to 3:00 at North Main Baptist Church gym, 815 N. Main. Dress casually and wear any Razorback attire that you have. “Life is a celebration. All of it. Even it’s end.”
