Helen Virginia Craig
February 25, 1935 - July 29, 2022

Helen Virginia Craig, 87, of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas passed away on to her Heavenly home on July 29, 2022 at her home. She was born on February 25, 1935 in Engelburg, Arkansas to the late Benjamin T. Riney and Ida Bernice (Reiathbaum) Riney. Helen married her husband Joseph L. Craig on September 15, 1956 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Mrs. Craig was a lifelong member of the Milligan Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her church family as much as her own family. She loved being at home with her family and especially her great grandbabies. She loved to cook for her family. She also took a great pride in her yard and flowers. She is now happy sitting under her twinkie tree eating all the twinkies she wants. Survivors include; one daughter: Debbie Craig of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas; one son: Ronnie Craig of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Johana Boatman (Johnny) of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas; one great grandson: Jacob Boatman of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas; two great granddaughters: Jenna Boatman and Jenly Boatman of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by; loving husband: Joseph L. Craig; parents: Benjamin T. Riney and Ida Riney; five brothers: Leo Riney, Otis Riney, Otto Riney, Lloyd Riney, Vetah Riney; and three sisters: Flora Riney Baltz, Mabel Riney Carmack, Mary Nell Riney Lewis. Pallbearers: Ricky Jackson, Dwight Whittenburg, Roger Adcock, Terry Couch, Billy Barker, and Mike Adams. Honorary Pallbearers: The men of Milligan Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on August 2, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Milligan Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Colvin officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on August 1, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at the Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
