Cheryl "Terri" Mitchell

Cheryl “Terri” Mitchell, 67, of Jonesboro, passed on August 12, 2022 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. Terri was born on October 7, 1954 in Walnut Ridge to Bob and Daphine Vermilye. Terri was a lifelong hairdresser who loved to talk and never met a stranger. Terri loved to be outside, especially near any type of water. She was a very active member of the Jonesboro Elks Lodge #498 and held many positions over the years, at both local and state levels. But more than anything she loved her family, kids, and grandkids. Terri is survived by her daughter Aubri Cliff (Michelle), Son Josh Mitchell (Candace), Sister Sheri Bickers, Niece Andrea Hale (Stephen), and her precious grandchildren Taylor Heinen (Will), Abigail, Jackson, Thomas and great grandchildren Kora, Parker, and Lip. She is preceded by her parents, Bob and Daphine Vermilye; her grandparents, Toots and Daisy Burns. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday August 21st, 2022 at 1:30pm at the Jonesboro Elks Lodge, 213 W. Washington Avenue Jonesboro, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family is requesting donations be made in her name to the Elks National Foundation. Oh one more thing...
