Phillip Lee Hetler
July 6, 1949 - August 25, 2022

Phillip Lee Hetler, 73, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on August 25, 2022. He was born on July 6, 1949 in Monette, Arkansas to Harrison Hetler and Marie Redding Hetler. Phillip enjoyed fishing, drinking coffee, napping, hummingbird watching, gardening, and spending time with his family. Survivors include; loving wife of 46 years: Brenda Hetler of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one son: Lynn Hetler (Marguetta) of Lake City, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Jessica Vankirk, Kristina Mora, and Justin Hetler; one brother: Henry Hetler of Leachville, Arkansas; two sisters: Sylvia James (Harvey) of Leachville, Arkansas and Thelma Davis of Leachville, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. Phillip is preceded in death by; his parents: Harrison Hetler and Marie Redding Hetler; and two brothers: Mack Thornhill and William Hetler. Pallbearers: Shawn Blanchard, Greg Hogg, Perry Greenway, Bill Leger, Joby Steel, and Chris Hogg. Honorary pallbearers: John and Sharon Hollis and Jerry and Carolyn Koster. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Pastor Don Robinson officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Browns Chapel Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas.
