Nancy Jane Benson
February 22, 1948 - October 6, 2022

Our dear mother, Nancy Jane Benson, sadly departed this world on October 6, 2022, at the age of 74 from a chronic illness. Jane was born on February 22, 1948 in Marmaduke, AR to Corbett Smithee and Ann Brown. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. Jane had many friends and was well loved by her family: brothers-Sam Easley and Chuck Grigsby; sisters-Arletta (Junior) Shelton and Charlene (Scott) Mitchell; grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her true love, Larry Benson, her parents, sister Polly Rubbo, and brother Eddie Easley. Jane's daughter, Suzanne (Don) Clayton of Paragould, AR, sons Alex and Bradley Benson of Paragould, AR, and Matt Benson of Brookland, AR, as well as grandchildren Trey and Cory Clayton, Matt, Bradley, and Riley Benson, and Logan, Abbie, Braxton, Tyler, and Sydney (Thompson) Benson, survive her. We know that we can't have you, but we are happy knowing that the angels carried you home. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2 pm at 111 Westway, Brookland, Arkansas. Friends and family are welcome to attend this very special occasion. We encourage everyone to wear a shade of purple (Jane's favorite color). Flowers and condolences may be offered to the same address as above.
