Katheryn Lynn Barnes, 54, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on October 21, 2022. She was born on November 2, 1967 in Rockford, Illinois to Kenneth and Eloise Eley Barnes. Katheryn enjoyed taking care of others, online shopping, dancing, taking pictures, and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchild. You can only have one mother, patient kind and true; No other friend in all the world, will be the same for you. When other friends forsake you, to mother you will return, for all her loving kindness, she asks nothing in return. As we look upon her picture, sweet memories we recall, Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all. Sweet Jesus, take this message, to our dear mother up above; Tell her how we miss her, and give her all our love. – Irish Funeral Prayer Survivors include; four children: Jessica Dunn of Trumann, Arkansas, Michael Dunn (Beckah) of Trumann, Arkansas, Kassondra Palmer (Joe) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Kendra Killough of Trumann, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Sissalee, Tyce, Mariona, Aaron, Callie, Trevor, Samael, Ian, Rian, and Avian; three bonus grandchildren; one bonus great grandchild; one sister: Teresa Martin of Trumann, Arkansas; three step siblings; one aunt: Maudia Dayton of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two nieces: Deanna and Julie Kay; her fur baby: Scarlett; and a host of other family and friends. Katheryn is preceded in death by; her parents: Kenneth and Eloise Eley Barnes; uncle pops; uncle bud; and her fur baby: Shantille Lace. Pallbearers: Kassondra Palmer, Joe Austin, Michael Dunn, Chris Sawyer, Ian Shankle, and Aaron Dunn. Honorary pallbearers: Tyce, Batman, Trevor, and Samael. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Christian Worship Center in Trumann, Arkansas with Pastor Tommy Jordan and Assistant Pastor David Busby officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 noon till service time. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
