Michael Dewayne Davis, 49, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on November 14, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1973 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Charles and Etta Shocklee Davis. Michael enjoyed arrowhead hunting, looking for unusual rocks, playing and working on guitars, eating out and trying new restaurants, collecting guns, and spending time with his family. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the nurses at Legacy Hospice. Survivors include; loving wife: Carla Jo Davis of the home; one daughter: Jessica Burgess (Chris) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; one son: David Green of Pocahontas, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Paisley Burgess, Hudson Burgess, and Azalea Burgess; mother-in-law: Melinda Covey of Datto, Arkansas; cousin: Randy Davis (Patty) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; one special friend: Carl Parnell of St. Louis, Missouri; and a host of other family and friends. Michael is preceded in death by; his parents: Charles and Etta Shocklee Davis; and one brother: Gregory Allen Davis. The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas.
