Bobby C. Wortham

Bobby C. Wortham, 82, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas on December 18, 2022. He was born on November 20, 1940 in Rivervale, Arkansas to Sherman Wortham and Ella Vowel Rose. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, doing handyman work, and he was retired from Hytrol Conveyers. Survivors include; loving wife of 45 years: Barbara Wortham of the home; one daughter: Teresa Upton (Bob); one son: Tony King; seven grandchildren: Anthony Timms, Chris Timms, Luke King, Misty Biby, Justin Wortham, Kacy Wortham; several great grandchildren; five brothers: Byron Vowell, Owen Vowell, Tommy Vowell, Carlos Vowell, and Floyd Vowell; two sisters: Marilyn Thomas and Wanda Vowell; and a host of other family and friends. Bobby is preceded in death by; his parents: Sherman Wortham and Ella Vowel Rose; one son: David Wortham; three brothers: Lloyd Vowell, Marlin Vowell, and Verlin Vowell; and one sister: Lois Jean Mason. Pallbearers: Bobby Upton, Tony King, Luke King, Anthony Timms, and Chris Timms. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas with Rev. Joe Guthrie officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
