Connie Lorene Parker, 67, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernards ER on January 22, 2023. She was born on December 23, 1955 in San Bernardino County, California to Finnis Bowman and Delores West. Connie enjoyed making holiday wreaths, gardening, reading, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Survivors include; three children: Rebecca Parker (Robert Coleman) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Robby Parker of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Chris Parker of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four sisters: Sharon Pinkston (James) of Bono, Arkansas, Norma Timms of Lake City, Arkansas, Terry Cullen (Glen) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Gale Thomas of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Destinee Parker, Colton Peden, Skylar Peden, Hunter Parker, and Chase Askland; and a host of other family and friends. Connie is preceded in death by; her husband: James “Jim” Parker; her parents: Finnis Bowman and Delores West; and two brothers: Ronald Way and Kerry Bowman. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory General Baptist Church (1611 Duncan Rd.) in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church at 10:30 a.m. until service time with Dale Blackwell officiating.
