Paul M. Ashcraft, 84, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on May 15, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 2, 1938 in Herbine, Arkansas to Lester and Ophie Ross Ashcraft. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Jonesboro and he loved yardwork and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include; his wife of 62 years: Margie Ashcraft of the home; one son: John Ashcraft and wife Stacie of Paragould, Arkansas; one daughter: Donna Deutter and husband Kevin of Hammond, Louisiana; three grandchildren: Josh Ashcraft of Paragould, Arkansas, Jacob DeWitt of Arlington, Texas, and Alyssa Deutter of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two brothers: Dwight Ashcraft of Clearwater, Florida and Dwayne Ashcraft and wife Carolyn of Warren, Arkansas; one sister: Brenda Howard and husband Guy of Wimberly, Texas; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at Temple Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Andy Neal officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Prosperity Cemetery, Pansy, Arkansas with Mr. Dwayne Ashcraft officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
