Jo Ann Wood, 67, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at her home. She was born on November 28, 1955 in Trumann, Arkansas, to Vernon Charles and Celesta Waneda Mullins Nash. She enjoyed riding horses and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include; her husband: Tim Wood of the home; two children: Jamie Morgan of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Leslie Morgan of Light, Arkansas, and Melinda Morgan of Paragould, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Ashley Morgan (Brian Gray) of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Alex Morgan (Alexis Smith) of Paragould, Arkansas, Celesta Morgan of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Gabriel Hankins (Abby Summers) of Paragould, Arkansas, and Jesse Morgan of Light, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren: Asher Morgan of Paragould, Arkansas, Liliana Gray (Haylen Gray) of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Willow Hankins of Paragould, Arkansas; loving cousin: Debra Kimberland Neill of Tennessee; one sister: Judy Waneda Orick of Paragould, Arkansas; special niece: Melissa Campbell of Illinois; best friend of 40 plus years: Teresa Holt; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents: Vernon Charles and Celesta Waneda Nash; maternal grandparents: Jack and Beaulah Mullins; paternal grandfather: Park Nash, paternal grandmother: Inez Kimberland (Harvey); brother: Charles Michael Nash; and one sister: Patricia Lee Nash. A Memorial Service will be held on May 20, 2023 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Church, Highway 351, Paragould, Arkansas with Minister John Strickland officiating.
