Jerry Luke Owens, 55, of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away on August 26, 2024 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on February 18, 1969 in Trumann, Arkansas to James and Nancy Owens. He was a member of the 1st Assembly of God in Trumann, Arkansas and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was an avid Cardinals and Razorback fan. Survivors include; his wife: Mary Owens of the home; his mother: Nancy Owens of Trumann, Arkansas; four brothers: John Owens (Darlene) of Bay, Arkansas, David Owens of Trumann, Arkansas, Joshua Owens (Patricia) of Trumann, Arkansas, and Daniel Owens of Trumann, Arkansas; two sisters: Sandra Biggers (Daniel) and Roxann Jones both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; father-in-law: Bobby Veteto; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his father: James Owens; his son: Lucas Owens; and his mother-in-law: Laura Veteto. Pallbearers: Jared Maxwell, Lloyd Inzer, Derek Wilson, Keith Mincy, Charlie McKinney, and Ricky Willbanks. Honorary Pallbearers: Ortenzo Frazier, Marvin Pagan, and members of the church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the 1st Assembly of God in Trumann, Arkansas with Pastor Kenneth Doke and Bro. Lloyd Inzer officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
