Patsy Ann Rains

Patsy Ann Rains, 81, of Turrell, Arkansas passed away on August 30, 2024 at her home. She was born on May 28, 1943 in Ripley, Mississippi to William Epps and Minnie Beatrice Turner. She was a member of Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Tyronza, Arkansas. Patsy enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and gardening. Survivors include; two sons: Bryan Rains (Michelle) of Mt. View, Arkansas and Jeff Rains (Lisa) of Turrell, Arkansas; three daughters: Lynn Puckett (Rick) of Turrell, Arkansas, Laura Montague (Michael) of Tyronza, Arkansas and Becky Powell (Johnny) of Turrell, Arkansas; grandchildren: Ashley (Andy), Colby (Tabatha), Amber (Donald), Chris (Sydney), Johnny Ray, Jessica (Blake), Dylan, Brittany, Ryelee, Mona (Dustin), Norha (Brandon), Zahwa, Aaron, Alicia; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents William and Minnie Turner; her husband: Clarence Rains; two brothers: Richard Wayne Turner and Bill Turner; and one sister: Sarah Taylor. Pallbearers: Colby Puckett, Johnny Ray Powell, Chris Montague, Dylan Rains, Carson Montague, Hayden Stone, Trenton Stone, and Brayden Montague. Honorary Pallbearers: Andy Stone, Donald Brister, Aaron Colburn, and Blake Drum. Funeral services will be held on September 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Barton Chapel Baptist Church, 189 Barton Road, Tyronza, Arkansas with Pastor Kirk Martin, Pastor Tom Rains, and Pastor Kim Reeder officiating. Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on September 3, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
