Johnny Leon Ellington, 79, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on September 21, 2024 at his home. He was born on August 30, 1945 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to John and Mary Francis (McGlothen) Ellington. Johnny enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Survivors include; loving wife of 58 years: Charline Ellington of the home; two children: Heather Ellington of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Jennipher Elliott (Jack) of Imboden, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Jameison Acree, Heidi Acree, Hayley Taylor, Isaiah Aguirre, Haven Westerfield, Hayden Westerfield; four great grandchildren; one sister: Maryann Riney of Pocahontas, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents: John and Mary Francis (McGlothen) Ellington; two brothers: Junior Vanwinkle and Freddie Ellington; and one sister: Freda Ellington. The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
