Bobby James King
March 29, 1976 - December 12, 2024

Bobby James King, 48, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on December 12, 2024 at Craighead County Nursing Home. He was born on March 29, 1976 in Aurora, Illinois to Robert Lee and Evelyn (Hawk) King. Bobby was a member of the Highland Drive Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was also a previous member of the Cornerstone Methodist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas for many years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar, singing, reading, and spending time with his family, friends and his dogs River, Copper and Buster. He loved everything superman. He was a very caring, loving person, and never met a stranger. Everyone that met Bobby loved him and he will be missed by so many. Survivors include; wife of 26 years: Melissa King of the home; one son: Xander King of the home; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents: Robert Lee and Evelyn (Hawk) King; and one brother: Robby King. The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

    I met Bobby and his family when I was a young kid at cornerstone. I have so many fond memories of being in the band with him. It has been many years since we crossed paths back at cornerstone, but I will always remember him for the joy and entertainment he brought us in the band. I am so sorry for your loss.
