Jimmie Leon Goatcher, Sr.

Jimmie Leon Goatcher, Sr.,73, of Wynne, Arkansas passed away on December 24, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1951 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Loice and Ophilia Goatcher. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith and served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing, playing games on his phone, working on and collecting cars and motorcycles. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include; two daughters: Teresa Brown (Michael) of Wynne, Arkansas and Tanya Watson (Roy) of Wynne, Arkansas; one son: Jimmie Goatcher, Jr.(Shawna) or Wynne, Arkansas; three sisters: Kathryn Gibson (John) of Wynne, Arkansas, Dana Stanbery (Joseph) of Colt, Arkansas, and Donna Blomberg of Dixon, Illinois; one brother: Lorence Mitchell Lowery (Mario) of Columbus, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his wife: Patricia Goatcher; his parents: Loice and Ophilia Goatcher; one great-grandson: Lucien (King) James; one sister: Elizabeth Goatcher; three brothers: Robert Goatcher, Sr., Boyce Goatcher, Roger Dale Goatcher; and one nephew: Robbie Goatcher, Jr. There will be a graveside service on January 17, 2025 at 1:00 at Birdeye Veterans Cemetery, 3600 Highway 163, Cherry Valley, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Faith Fellowship Church in Wynne, Arkansas.
