Robert Lee McGaha III
September 30, 1947 - January 18, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Lee McGaha III, on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 30th, 1947, to Anna (Fiannaca) McGaha and Robert Lee McGaha II, Robert peacefully fell asleep in death, surrounded by the love of those closest to him. In his final days, family and friends called and visited to share their love and tell him how much he meant to them. Our Dad will be remembered as a hardworking family man. Boy he loved fishing and passing that on to his children : Tammie L. Richardson (David) of Jonesboro, Wendy (Mike) Healey of Cookeville, Tennessee, Rusty (Missy) McGaha of Jonesboro, Michael (Tracy) McGaha of Jonesboro, and Joshua (Katie) McGaha of Jonesboro. The gentleness of our Mom and the outgoing , fun-loving, strong working ethics of our Dad created a beautiful family that he not only loved, but was proud of. He was a happy Papaw/Grandpa to eleven grandchildren he dearly loved: Tiffani, Alex, Beau, Layne, Jett, Cody, Tyler, Weston, Adison, Jace, and Caleb, and a loving great-grandfather to Royce, Boston, RaeAnna, and Lane. He was so proud of each one of them for the little persons they were growing into. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Robert, his sister, Carmel, his wife, Glenda, his son, Michael, and his granddaughter, Brittney. He loved helping others in need many times at great expense to himself. He enjoyed rebuilding vehicles and that was the best way he got his 5 children up and driving. He took pride in his work and cared deeply for those he employed. Most who knew him knew he was also fisherman at heart. In his later years he still enjoyed helping, rebuilding, and working hard. He took these skills and applied them in a little zoom group that will remember their spiritual conversations and surprise visits of chef prepared food. As we grieve the loss of Robin, we take comfort in the promise of Revelation 21:4, which assures us that God will “wipe every tear from their eyes,” and that death, mourning, and pain will be no more. We can’t wait to see him again in paradise, where we will be reunited and experience joy, peace, and everlasting life together. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and precious memories that will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who loved him. There will be a Celebration of his life 4:00 pm Friday January 24,2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Wittnesses 5618 Summer Place Jonesboro, Ar. All friends & family are invited. A zoom meeting will be held for friends and family out of town, please contact the family for this information.
