Norma Jean Hinz

Norma Jean Hinz, 84, of Blytheville, Arkansas passed away on February 27, 2025 at her home. She was born on January 14, 1941 in Union, South Carolina to Harley Franks and Olive (Deheart) Franks. Norma was a precious moments collector. She loved Elvis Presley, crafting, word searches, coloring, shopping, watching football, gardening, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; five children: Sherry Franks of Bryson City, North Carolina, Melissa Massey of Atlanta, Georgia, Regina Whatley (Jesse) of Blytheville, Arkansas, Ryan Massey of Blytheville, Arkansas; Brenda Melville of Rogers, Arkansas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her husband: George Hinz; her parents: Harley Franks and Olive (Deheart) Franks; one grandson: Jacob Bell; one sister: Brenda Fisher; and two brothers: Bud Franks and Bill Franks. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Grave Gap Cemetery in Bryson City, North Carolina.
