Roy Louis Ward, Jr.

Mr. Roy Louis Ward, Jr., 57 of Maynard, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Ward was born on May 5, 1958 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Rou Louis and Betty Sims Ward. Mr. Ward was of the Pentecostal faith, enjoyed fishing, riding and working on motorcycles, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include; his wife: Penny Ward of the home; one son: Roy Louis Ward, III of the home; two daughters: Misty Barnett (Blake) of Denver, Colorado and Mariea Ward (Kim Smith) of the home; two brothers: Greg Ward (Tracy) of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Jerry Ward (Regina) of Linton, Indiana; ten grandchildren: Tyler, Kaden, Breaonna, Bryson, Kali, Seth, Cade, Ryder, Baya, and Braxton; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; one brother: Michael Shane Ward.Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Faith Funeral Service chapel. The family request private disposition.
