Richard Wells

Mr. Richard Henry Wells, age 55 of Steele, Missouri, passed away on July 14, 2014 at his home. Born June 22, 1960 in Hayti, Missouri, he was the son of the late Bobby Joe and Laura Goss Wells and was a longtime area resident. Mr. Wells was of the Baptist faith, was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by one son: Richard Wells, II of Hayti, Missouri; one daughter: LaShondia Parry of Steele, Missouri; six brothers: Robert Bolan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Tommy Bolan of Caruthersville, Missouri, Donny Bolan of Richland, Missouri, Henry Bolan of Caruthersville, Missouri, Christopher Houston of California and Terry Wells of Hayti, Missouri; three sisters: Kathleen Jarred of Portageville, Missouri, Patricia Hinklin of Tennessee and Doris Crittenden of North Carolina; two grandchildren: Haylee Eaton and Keandre Sprriggs. Mr. Wells also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Deaton Wells: four brothers: Allan Wayne Wells, Joe Dean Wells, Wesley O’Neal Wells and Gary Lee Wells; two sisters: Brenda Lee Wells and Katherine Metz; one granddaughter: Trinity Eaton. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Cottonwood Baptist Church in Cottonwood Point, Missouri with Bro. Nick Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Missouri with Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Brandon Miller, Terry Wells, Frank Parry, Jimmy Parry, Terry Walker and T.J. Jarred
