Julia Matthews

Mrs. Jackie K. Matthews, age 49 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2104 at her home. Born July 25, 1965 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Jack and Billie Watkins Matthews and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Matthews enjoyed gardening, spending time with children and talking with the elderly. She is survived by her mother: Billie Jean Eastin of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one son: Steven Cooper Long of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter: Julia Dee Lorenzana of Paragould, Arkansas; three brothers: Al Ishmael of Jonesboro, Steven Ishmael of Bay, Arkansas and Ben Spiker of Jacksonville, Florida; one grandson: John Gabriel Lorenzana of Paragould, Arkansas. Mrs. Matthews also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Matthews was preceded in death by her father: Jack Alonzo Matthews and a sister-in-law: Kathy Kee. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
