Peggy Brasher

Peggy Brasher, 59, of Newport, Arkansas passed away on August 26, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 31, 1958 to the late Vardamon and Lizzie Frances Emery Miller. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, playing cards, and spending time with grandchildren.Survivors include; her husband: David Brasher of the home; one daughter: Shannon Kruse of Newport, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Collin and Caleb Kruse of Newport, Arkansas; special extended family: Amie Roddy, Terrell Roddy and Tammie McFarlin all of Newport, Arkansas; two nieces: Kimberly Block Tucker and Francis Wolfe both of Newport, Arkansas; one nephew: Johnny Miller, Jr. of Newport, Arkansas; four brothers; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; one son: David Brasher, Jr.; and four sisters.Special thanks for monetary gifts, cards, and calls.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Tuckerman, Arkansas with Rev.
