Harold Scott

Harold Scott, 55 of Caraway passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at his home.He was born August 30, 1961 in Caraway, Arkansas to the late James William and Billie Joe Constant Scott. He was a farmer, who worked for Henry Dean and Jeff Finch. Harold loved yard work, especially attending to his flowers, he was also well known for his Christmas lights and displays throughout the area. Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway, Arkansas. Survivors include his wife: Carol, of 35 years of the home; one sister: Joyce (Jerry) Brown of Caraway; two nephews; two nieces; two great nephews; one great niece and a host of other family and friends.Harold was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 1:00 at the First Baptist Church in Caraway with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church Thursday at 12:00pm until time for service. Interment will follow in the Caraway Cemetery, Caraway, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Services, Manila, Arkansas.

    Harold and I were classmates at Caraway. We even played pee wee basketball together. I will remember him as a man that was always a joy to be around. Such a kind soul. I will miss him, but I know that he is in the kingdom on Heaven and will never know sickness again.
