Shirley JoAnn Barkley

Shirley JoAnn Barkley, 65, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born on March 9, 1952 in Inglewood, California to the late Donald and Frances Robbins Sears. She loved to read, playing games on the computer, sewing, enjoying life, and she was crazy about her grandson, Dominick.Survivors include; her husband: William Gary Barkley of the home; one son: Douglas William Christensen of Jonesboro; one daughter: Kimberly Hurt (Danny) of Licking, Missouri; one grandson: Dominick Donley of Licking, Missouri; one brother: Brian Sears of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister: Sally Cain of Hemet, California; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: three sisters: Bonnie Sears, Judy Betza, and Beverly Chambers.The family request private services under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
