Peggy Rinks

Peggy Rinks, 84, of Rector, Arkansas passed away on August 1, 2017 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on February 2, 1933 in Maydee, Tennessee to the late Lynn Elmer and Ida Clifford Clayton Williams. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church, a devout Christian, very active in the church, taught Sunday school, loved Gospel music, was an amazing baker, enjoyed going to the senior citizens center, and loved spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include; one son: Ernest Rinks (Linda) of Rector, Arkansas; one sister: Juanita Franks of Rockford, Illinois; two brothers: Ernest Richard Williams (Melda) of Rockford, Illinois and Charles Williams (Candy) of Hornbeak, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Jennifer Cornette (Chris) of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Brandi Rinks (Jeremy) of Memphis, Tennessee, and Dana Wilson (Paul) of Wynne, Arkansas; eight great-grandchildren: Karen, Olivia, Emily, Gannon, Sara, Drew, Davis and Karmen (Steve); one great-great-grandchild: Adilyne; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband: Ray Rinks; two sons: Ricky and Roy Rinks; three brothers: Lynn, Lewis, and Haskell Williams; and two sisters: Mary Barnett and Shirley Burdin. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the First General Baptist Church, Rector, Arkansas with Pastor Ken Price officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Keith DeFries, Mike Wess, Charles Smith, Cecil Hardin, Willie Hutchison, and Doyne Vangilder
