Melissa A Clark

Melissa A. Clark, 50, of Jonesboro passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House after a long-fought battle with a brain infection. She was of the Christian faith.Melissa was born September 6, 1967 to George and Brenda Clark. She was a 1985 graduate of Jonesboro High School and was a hard worker her entire life.Melissa was devoted to her family, friends, and pets. She made spending time with her mother a priority. She was a kind and loving person, putting others before herself. Melissa was the life of family gatherings and her spirit and humor will be missed.Melissa was preceded in death by her father George (Larry) Clark.Survivors include; her mother: Brenda Clark; one sister: Veronica Clark (Neal); one brother: Codie Clark (Marissa); and a host of friends and extended family.Memorial services will be held at Airport Road Baptist Church in Jonesboro at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 with Pastor Mark Sadler and Matt Knight officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House and NEA Humane Society.
