Arlene Faulkner

Arlene Faulkner, 60, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at her home. She was born on July 21, 1958 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Samuel David and Mary Ollie Stoner Hicks. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway, enjoyed reading the Bible and praising God through song, telling others about God, took great pride in keeping a clean house, had a big heart, and loved her children. Survivors include; two daughters: Kenna Faulkner of Caraway, Arkansas and Kelsey Garland (John) of Lake City, Arkansas; three sisters: Nadine Malone of Williams, Arizona, Violet Parks of Lonoke, Arkansas, and Denise Buckelew of Hartland, Wisconsin; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her husband: Kenneth Faulkner; one brother: Sammy Gene Hicks; two sisters: Patricia Ashabranner and Theresa Kay Hicks. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Caraway with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Larry Davis, Garry Davis, Randy Couch, Mike Rhodes, John Calvert, Gary Barrett, Hunter Miller, and Ronnie Hurst.

    I worked at JC Penney with Arlene and everyday she had a smile on her face and laughter in her voice. You could never be sad when she was around. Now she is looking down on us and I know that beautiful smile is still on her face. Rest in peace, my friend, you will always be in our hearts.
