Larry Armstrong, Jr.

Larry Armstrong, Jr., 75, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on August 15, 2018 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on August 12, 1943 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to the late Larry and Christine South Armstrong. He was a member of the Trumann Revival Center and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include; his wife: Johnnie Armstrong of the home; three sons: Michael Armstrong (Shari), Richard Armstrong, and Dustin Armstrong (Ashton) all of Trumann, Arkansas; one daughter: Sandra Chastain (Michael) of Hernando, Mississippi; one brother: Frankie Armstrong of Trumann, Arkansas; three sisters: Regina Goodwin of Swannanoa, North Carolina, Diane Dickerson of Trumann, Arkansas, and Teresa Johnson of Yellville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two brothers: Bobby and Ronnie Armstrong; and one sister: Doris Johnson.Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trumann Revival Center with Bro. Buddy Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Thursday at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Michael Armstrong, Richard Armstrong, Dustin Armstrong, Hunter Mitchell, Mallory Chastain, and Clyde Muntz.
