Billy Joe Adcock
January 20, 1946 - December 26, 2021

Billy Joe Adcock, 75, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on December 26, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on January 20, 1946 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Amos and Evelyn Hayes Adcock. The joy of his life was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill was a master plumber starting in 1980 when he worked with his brother-in-law J. T. Wrinkles. Bill Started Bill Adcock Plumbing in the early 90’s. He was known for his honesty and good work ethic. His son Roger joined him in the family business in 2005. He loved when his grandson was old enough to go to work with him, which led Jordan to pursue a career as a plumber. Nothing made him happier than telling everyone his son and grandson were 2nd and 3rd generation plumbers. Survivors include; his wife of 57 years: Brenda Adcock of the home; one son: Roger Adcock (Sandy) of Caraway, Arkansas; five brothers: Loren Adcock of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Robert Adcock (Chyral) of Caraway, Arkansas, Donnie Adcock (Sharon) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Rickie Adcock of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Michael Adcock (Mitzi) of Manila, Arkansas; four sisters: Barbara Wallace (Gary) of Caraway, Arkansas, Mary Hollis of Caraway, Arkansas, Brenda Gettleman (Wayne) of Granite City, Illinois, and Linda Bowdon (Foster) of Caraway, Arkansas; one grandson: Jordan Adcock (Malorie) of Caraway, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Haley Puckett (Kolten) of Caraway, Arkansas; two great-granddaughters: Emsley Puckett and Landry Adcock both of Caraway, Arkansas; one great-grandson: Kole Puckett of Caraway, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his parents: Amos and Evelyn Adcock; grandparents: Joseph and Bessie Adcock and Edward and Bertha Hayes; and two sisters: Carolyn Wrinkles and Bettie Brown. Pallbearers: Bo James, Glen Boone, Jerry Berry, Curtis Taylor, and Larry Mason. Honorary Pallbearers: Joe South, Dean Story, Johnny McCord, John Starnes, Jack Stone, Charles Bridges, and the Quick Shop Coffee Club. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Caraway Cemetery with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
