Linda S. Blair (Hampton)

Linda S. Blair (Hampton), 76, of Salem, Illinois passed away at Doctors Nursing Home and Rehab on March 25, 2022. She was born on November 24, 1945 in Mattoon, Illinois to Vernie and Madonna Blair. Linda enjoyed doing crafts with her sister in her spare time and doing them for Christmas Gifts. She loved traveling and going to other local towns to check out the Dollar Store, Delas. She also enjoyed doing seek and find books. She especially loved being around her family, her grandsons, and great grandchildren. Survivors include; one son: Ricky Hampton of Salem, Illinois; five sisters: Franny Kirkman of Alma, Illinois, Carolyn Smith of Salem, Illinois, Louise Ashley of Salem, Illinois, Ann Griswould of Salem, Illinois, Trish Blair of Kinmundy, Illinois; two grandchildren: Matthew White of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Kyle White of Lawton, Oklahoma; four great grandchildren: Mason White, Caden White, Zander White all of Snyder, Oklahoma, Annalisa White of Lawton, Oklahoma; son in law: Marty J. White of Manila, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. Linda is preceded in death by; loving husband: Charles E. Hampton, Jr.; parents: Vernie and Madonna Blair; one daughter: Malinda R. White; and one brother: Larry Blair. Pallbearers: Matthew White, Kyle White, Dennis Isabell, Mikki Isabell, Josh Copeland, and Keith Yates. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Manila Cemetery in Manila, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
