Irma C. Gatlin, 90 of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on April 1, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on February 10, 1932 in Arkansas to Louie and Frances Flowers Whittenburg. She was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed dancing and won a dance contest at Monette Manor and Special Olympics, and best dressed at the senior beauty pageant. Survivors include; one sister: Ina Presley of Milligan Ridge, Arkansas; two nieces: Allene McClung (Darrell) of Lake City, Arkansas and Joy Vannada (John) of Harrisburg, Arkansas; one nephew: Dwight Whittenburg (Holly) of Caraway; one sister-in-law: Dorthy Whittenburg of Caraway, Arkansas; one great-niece: Kaesha Koons Gladden of Memphis, Tennessee; one great-nephew: Hunter Whittenburg (Jessica) of Caraway, Arkansas; one great-great-nephew: Maverd Whittenburg of Caraway, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by; her parents: Louis and Frances Whittenburg; one brother: George Whittenburg; and three infants. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Graig Stull officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
