Hello Aunt Leslie! I love you and will miss you! However, I will not mourn you anymore than I must for you have the joy of the LORD and get to rest in his glory! I am so thankful to have had you in my life and I was always proud when you would introduce me as “the boy you never had.” I have many fond memories with you and many more stories I have been told! I am glad you and my wife spent so much time together these last couple of years and that you got to see my sons and came to know Parker from all of you and Kasey’s thrifting. I must go now, but I love you so much and I can’t wait to see you again someday healed and set free!-Your Boy!

  2. Taylor Thomas, Southaven says

Momma, this life is really hard without you here. All of my life, I’ve had you by my side. I’d rather take care of you when your sick a million more years than to be feeling this. I know you and Dad are together, but our hearts hurt. I’m thankful you are no longer in pain, but now my heart is in pain. I don’t know how to continue without you, but I am trying to figure it out. I miss you so much. Haley misses you. The girls miss you. I really don’t understand why you and dad had to leave us, But God knows I can’t wait to be with you again momma. I love you so much, everything that’s ever nourished and built me and my sister is gone now, it’s like we are having to completely rebuild and it’s not easy. We need our parents. Please keep visiting me in my dreams, every since you left this world you’ve came and saw me in my dreams! I am so thankful, I’m always so ready to go to sleep at night just so I can see you, but when I wake up my heart just breaks. I love you mom, I always will. Some how, we will be okay just like you wanted, I’m not sure how but we will figure it out. I know Heaven can’t be far because you and dad would have never left us, I know y’all are somewhere close. I’ll see you again one day, until then I’m counting the days that go by until I can run to you and dad!

Leslie, my baby sister, you will be deeply missed from here on. It brings us all great sorrow that you are not here with us now. It does bring me future happiness to know that you are free from the pain and sickness you have had to endure. As we all live on we will never forget that you are ours and will always be. As Jesus has you now, we do not. So I have comfort knowing we will rejoin you when The Lord takes us home when that time comes. I will love you always, Your brother, John Green.

Niece Katie here, it's going to be a different life here without you. you were such a funny character that was always smiling. I will never forget when I was a kid (im sure all of us kid cousins can remember) the hamburger story- we had cheese slices at the house and aunt Leslie always had a way to save us money. She was one of the good ones. They say the good die young, and that she was. I love you aunt Leslie
