Cynthia Dean Vowell
August 10, 1947 - May 6, 2022

Cynthia Dean Vowell, 74, of Walcott, Arkansas passed on from this life in the early morning hours of May 6, 2022 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas. Cynthia was born in Cross County of Wynne, Arkansas on August 10, 1947 to Ralph and Wilma Hurdle. Her parents eventually relocated the family to Pamona, California where they would continue to raise their children. Cynthia graduated from Garey Highschool in Pamona, California. After graduation she worked at General Electric and continued her education in Nursing. Cynthia married Roy Lee Vowell on September 17, 1967, whom she had met her junior year of high school. After the birth of their second son, Roy and Cynthia moved their family to Arkansas, where they would continue to live and raise their family. Cynthia abandoned her career in Nursing, and gladly took the role of a stay-at-home mother and homemaker. Roy obtained his CDL and pursued a lifelong career in truck driving. Survivors include; one daughter: Marla Mackey (Mark) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three sons: Mark Vowell, Michael Vowell, Mitchell Vowell all of Walcott, Arkansas; one sister: DeLonna Wissert (Terry) of Post Falls, Idaho; ten grandchildren; elevn great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Cynthia is preceded in death by; loving husband: Roy Vowell; parents: Ralph and Wilma Hurdle; and two brothers: Jay Hurdle and Arnold Hurdle.
