Mamie Sue Taylor

Mamie Sue Taylor, 66, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away at her home on June 2, 2022. She was born on August 25, 1955 in Tupelo, Mississippi to Charlie Mack Payne and Francis Louise Brown Payne. Mamie enjoyed being outside in her rocking chair, planting a garden and flowers, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; one son: Chris Taylor (Crystal) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter: Kimberly Oswald (Rickey) of Brookland, Arkansas; two brothers: Jerry Payne (Diane) of Steele, Missouri, Earnie Rucker of Ashflat, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Clairah Taylor of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. Mamie is preceded in death by; loving husband of 31 years: Edgar Taylor; parents: Charlie Mack and Francis Louise Payne; and two sisters: Barbara Hawkins and Mary Taylor. Pallbearers: Chris Taylor, Earnie Rucker, Rickey Oswald, Aaron Gibson, James Langston, and Thomas Charles Hawkins. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Cemetery in Bono, Arkansas with Pastor Terry Vaughn officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations toward the funeral expenses.
