Johnny L. Duck, 65 of Osceola, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on June 4, 2022. He was born on October 16, 1956 in Osceola, Arkansas to William Duck and Willie Hardy Duck. Johnny was a member of the Monette Baptist Church. He was a big Arkansas Razorbacks fan. He enjoyed golf, gardening, going to softball games with his daughter and granddaughter, and spending time with his family. Survivors include; loving wife of 40 years: Janie Duck of the home; one son: John J. Duck (Tasha) of Marion, Arkansas; two daughters: Linda Collard (Jimmy) of Monette, Arkansas, Emily Wood of Osceola, Arkansas; one brother: Kenneth Duck (Lynn) of Red Banks, Mississippi; one sister: Linda Dawson (Steve) of Wilson, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Shannon, Morgan, Eli, Kaylee, Avery, Mackenzie; four great grandchildren: Liam, Hudson, Grayson, one on the way “Waylon”; and a host of other family and friends. Johnny is preceded in death by; parents: William Duck and Willie Hardy Duck; and one sister: Sherry Duck. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Monette First Baptist Church in Monette, Arkansas with Bro. Stan Ballard and Bro. Bob Blankenship officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church at 11:00 a.m. until service time.

    I have a few good memories of meeting Johnny and although I didn’t know him well, he seemed to genuinely enjoy his family; helping them, loving them, spending time with them anything! I know he will be missed but his love and the good times will be eternal !
