Edna Schmitz

Mrs. Edna Louise Schmitz, age 82 of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away December 12, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice house in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Schmitz was born January 2, 1932 in Nettleton, Arkansas, to the late Eugene and Myrtle Elston Pierce. She loved to read and take care of her grandson Levi Holt. She is survived by three sons: Mike Loggins of Trumann, Arkansas, Jeffery and Phillip Loggins both of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Three daughters: Teena Blagg and Vickie Matthews both of Trumann, Arkansas and Paula Rogers of Jonesboro, Arkansas. One brother: Johnny Pierce of Trumann, Arkansas and two sisters: Shirley Hutcherson of Illinois, and Pat Pierce, twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Sheila Loggins, one son: Jerry Loggins, one grandson: Todd Short, two sisters: Geneva Buzzard and Robbie Highfill. Graveside service will be 10:00 am, Monday, December 15, 2014 at Pine Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. John Maley officiating. Funeral Services will be under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
