Mickey Caples

Mr. Mickey Lynn Caples, age 60 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away December 4, 2014 at his home. Born August 24, 1954 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, he was the son of John Henry and Doris Holland Caples and was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church. Mr. Caples was active in the church as an EE trainer (Evangelism Explosion) that trains people to share the gospel and was a leader in Celebrate Recovery. Mr. Caples enojoyed all sports in general but was an avid Razorback fan. Mr. Caples played sports in his younger years and was a spectator in his older years. He is survived by his wife: Melinda Caples of the home: his mother: Doris Holland Caples of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three daughters: Nicole Caples of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Shannon Caples of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Laura Caples of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Stanley Caples of Ironton, Missouri; one sister: Brenda Waggener of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one granddaughter: Raven Trevino of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Caples was preceded in death by his father John Henry Caples. Funeral services will be Monday, December 8, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Walnut Street Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Parker and Bro. Glen Putman officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Enterprise Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Monday December 8, 2014 from 12:00pm until time of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Mauri Cole, Terry Graddy, Butch Yielding, John Kitterman, Robert Spears and Jim Guntharp
