Zettie Jewell Vail "Tootsie"

Zettie Jewell Vail “Tootsie”, 93, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away at Lakeside Nursing Home on September 10, 2022. She was born on May 22, 1929 in Hattiesville, Arkansas to James and Flora Ferguson Russell. Zettie was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She enjoyed bird and butterfly watching, reading, crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family. Zettie has three sets of five living generations. Survivors include; two sons: John Lealun Vail (Myra) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Robert Lynn Vail (Judy) of Brookland, Arkansas; one daughter: Zettie Vail Sanders of Keiser, Arkansas; one sister: Flora Russell Williams (Norman) of Viking, Mississippi; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Zettie is preceded in death by; husband: Robert A. Vail; parents: James and Flora Ferguson Russell; two brothers: Alvin Russell and Floyd Russell; six sisters: Ruby Denton, Glendora Brindos, Dorothy Roberts, Evelyn Lucille Russell, Sarah Verlin Russell, and Betty Davis; and one great granddaughter born into heaven: Kristan Diane Morgan. Pallbearers: Kris Morgan, Phillip Morgan, Kristopher Morgan, and Denny C. Campbell. Burial is being held at Jonesboro Memorial Park under the care of Faith Funeral Service.
