I am sorry I was unable to make Rick's service, the downside of being a pastor/ pastor's wife is when your church family needs your presence when your personal life wants to be somewhere else. My thoughts are with you, and prayers for peace even as I praise God for allowing Rick to touch our lives even for such a short time.

We are so very sorry for this loss. Certainly most heart wrenching for the family but also painful for the Church he loved, Westside school where his life touched so many and for the community as a whole. His influence cannot be replaced but everyone will reap the reward because he took the time to invest in the lives of so many. Our family was fortunate to have been on the receiving end of the Griffin family influence having spent time at the lake with Rick, Sharon, Charles, Karen, Evelyn, and Delbert. It is also our great honor to know and love Ms Sybil. No wonder that family is so precious. They have such a Godly legacy in that sweet woman. It is really hard to imagine one Griffin without the others. However, Rick has lived his life on earth preparing for the one he now lives. We must say praise God! Love to each of you. We will be holding you up in prayer.

Dear Family. As a former colleague of Rick's at Westside, I am so sorry to learn of his passing. He was a dedicated Warrior who will be greatly missed. When he talked of his grandchildren, a huge smile would come over his face. He loved his family and his Lord. God bless all of his family.
