  1. David Baker, Alexandria, Virginia says

My thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family and friends! He was a good man and great cop who was respected and admired for his hard work and devotion to duty. May he now rest in eternal peace in God's hands!

  2. Ken Baker, Miami FL says

Very Very Nice Man! We worked to get her at APD. RIP Bill????

  3. Mike Ortiz, FLORIDA says

I was on Bill's squad on day watch at APD. We stayed in touch after his retirement and it was always a pleasure catching up with Bill over the years. He always emphasized in some part of the conversation to be right with the lord. I will miss our chats. Rest in Peace my friend, 10-8.

  4. Kim Wood, Strasburg says

I appreciate Tudy listing me and my brother by name on the obituary. But like the Bible says the truth shall set you free. My father was married to my mom for 47 yrs. Marion James. In that marriage they had 2 children and only 4 grand children. Samantha daughter of Bill Jr and Ryan, Devin and Briana Wood of me. All other grand children and great grand children are Tudys only. I mean no disrespect but my daughter is heart broken. You see my father left his family on bad terms. The one he hurt the most was Briana. She worshipped him. As a baby. She is now hurt again to not be mentioned. I had to do this for her.

  5. Charlene Crocker , Mulberry, Florida says

Bill, your presence will be sorely missed. We love you Tudy Buddy & Charlene

  6. Monroe K. Bryant (MK), Dumfries, Va. says

Worked with Bill for many years in the Alexandria Police Department. He was a terrific softball player and was a member of our Police Softball team. Many remember him for the portable typewriter he always carried to type his police reports on instead of hand writing them. Prayers for his family.

  7. Paula Hill, Ward, Arkansas says

Diane and the rest of the James family....I'm so sorry for the loss of your Brother. I will be sending love and prayers to the families. Love to my BFF, Diane.
