Sonya Herro, 75, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1947 and lived a very full and adventurous life. If you knew Sonya, you know she was very rowdy and full of spunk. She loved to keep everyone on their toes. She loved cooking for the family. She enjoyed going shopping, listening to music, and of course dancing. But most of all, her favorite thing was to be around the ones she loved and cared for. She was extremely proud to have been here to meet her first great grandson. Sonya; aka Memaw leaves behind many family and friends, who will miss her and continue to keep her memories alive. Psalms 23; The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness, for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall swell in the house of the Lord forever.
