Patsy Janett Goodwin

Patsy Janett Goodwin, age 72 of Delaplaine, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born in Harrisburg, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Pastel and Edna Bain Busby. Mrs. Goodwin was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed yard-sales, flea markets and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons: Ricky Goodwin( Doris) of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Phillip Goodwin of Delaplaine, Arkansas; one daughter: Sheryl Selby( Keith) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister: Marie Richie of Trumann, Arkansas. She also leaves five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Richard “Sonny” Goodwin; two brothers: James Robert Busby and Jimmy Dale Busby; one sister: Reba Sue Hill; and one grandson: David Eric Thomas Elrod.Funeral service will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Church of God in Trumann, Arkansas with Bro. David Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors from 11:00am until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Billy Hankins, Zack Selby, David Dever, Peanut Hillard, Leroy Goodwin, Jr., and Jerry Elrod.
