John Wheeler Lindsey

Mr. John Wheeler Lindsey, age 62 of Rector, Arkansas, passed away December 14, 2015 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born May 22, 1953 in Langche, Alabama, he was the son of the late William and Clema Ruth Phipps Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey served his country in the United States Marines and enjoyed doing mechanic work. Motorcycles were the love of his life. He enjoyed riding with his wife in any weather and doing motorcycle toy runs for children. He is survived by his wife: Linda Lindsey of the home; three daughters: Kathy Gifford of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Cassie Meade of Rector, Arkansas and Jamie Midkiff of Paragould, Arkansas; four sons: Timothy Lindsey, James Hill, Billy Hill and Johnny Hill all of Rector, Arkansas; three brothers: Dale Lindsey of Rector, Arkansas, Glen Lindsey of Montana and Robert Lindsey of California. Mr. Lindsey also leaves eight grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
