Leon Richmond

Leon Richmond, age 78 of Dyess, Arkansas, passed away December 10, 2015 in Manila, Arkansas. Born July 22, 1937 at Luxora, Arkansas, he was the son of the late James Edward and Thelma Sanduskey Richmond. Mr. Richmond was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and tractors and could play any musical instrument he picked up by ear. He is survived by one daughter: Shelia Lampe of Blytheville, Arkansas; two sons: Jeff Richmond of Oklahoma and Clifton Richmond of Manila, Arkansas; two sisters: Loretta Walley of Tennessee and Shirley Ann Hurlion of Doniphan, Missouri. Mr. Richmond also leaves nine grandchildren and four great-grand children and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; his wife: Marilyn Richmond and one brother: Jerry Wayne Richmond. Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Connections Ministry in Blytheville, Arkansas with Bro. Tim Fulks officiating. The family request private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
