Vivian Naomi Garman Bass

Mrs. Vivian Naomi Garman Bass, age 71 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born September 7, 1944 in Cash, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Eva Lucille Walker Garman. Mrs. Bass was a member of the Southside Community Church, was employed by the Greene County Tech School District and enjoyed reading, shopping, and doing crafts. She is survived by three daughters: Deborah Bass of Paragould, Arkansas, Carol Thornton and husband Joe of Paragould, Arkansas and Tina Weaver and husband Wesley of Paragould, Arkansas; two sons: Wayne Bass and wife Leeanne of Paragould, Arkansas, Clint Bass and wife Sarah of Paragould; one brother: Noel Garman and wife Kathy of Paragould, Arkansas. Mrs. Bass also leaves twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one grand-dog and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Larry Bass and one brother: Verlon Garman. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Southside Community Church in Paragould, Arkansas with Pastor Charles Stoddard and Pat Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 12:00pm until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Brandon Gonser, Michael Bass, Blake Sickler, Chad McMillon, Tom Nichols, Fernando Gutierrez and Trent Dowdy.
