Cynthia Marie Stokes

Cynthia Marie Stokes, 48, of Rector, Arkansas passed away at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on July 31, 2023. She was born on April 6, 1975 in Kennett, Missouri to Charles Michael Nash and Debra Anne Nash Laws. She loved her fur babies Caoss and Jasper. Cynthia was a published author and enjoyed writing poems, gardening, fishing, doing anything outside, cooking, and spending time with her family. Survivors include; loving husband of 14 years: Alvin Stokes of the home; one son: Alvin “A.J.” Stokes, Jr. of Piggott, Arkansas; four daughters: Amy Laxton (Cody) of Rector, Arkansas, Brandy Clifford (William) of Piggott, Arkansas, Adrianna Stokes (Winston Lee) of California, Jerrica Stokes of Steele, Missouri; two sisters: Angela Lee (Logan) of Marmaduke, Arkansas and Michelle Pruett (Matthew) of Marmaduke, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Atlas Rios, Remi Rios, Nevaeh Clifford, Naomi Clifford; one nephew: Lane Pace; three nieces: Akaya Lee, Rylee Pruett, Kallie Pruett; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents: Charles Michael Nash and Debra Anne Nash Laws. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Purcell Church in Marmaduke, Arkansas.
